4 Wonderful Musical Riffs

Déjalo Ir – from the Telenovela “Corazón Indomable” – Double pickup/syncopation at 0:51.  Wonderful build from the quiet beginning.  

Beach Boys – Girls on the Beach – Double modulation after 1:28.   The song’s beginning gives the setup that makes the wild stuff fit here.

Led Zeppelin – Black Dog – 2:38, Guitar and Bass in unison on independent tempo from drums, timed to sync back up at 2:44  

Devo – Gut Feeling – Tempo increases gradually and almost imperceptibly from moderate at the start to fast and wild at 3:30, before they switch songs.
